Filtering and Sorting Columns in Views with Tabular Data
Several views have tabular data that can be easily filtered and sorted. For example the Recalls tab data operates this way for both Suppliers and Providers with slightly different columns.
Sorting
Sort any field by clicking the header. Clicking once will sort Ascending which will show with an up arrow symbol. Click again for Descending which will show with a down arrow symbol. Finally, click again to remove the sorting.
Filtering
To filter a column, click on the three-bar symbol that will appear when you hover over the header.
Enter the criteria you wish to filter on. Note that different data types will have different options. The column will display the filter symbol in the header when it has been filtered.
To clear the filter, click Reset at the bottom of the input box.
NotiSphere will keep your filter choices in place even if you log out.
Reordering the Columns
You may reorder the columns displayed by simply grabbing the header and dragging the column to the desired position.
Choosing the Fields to Display
You may choose which fields display in your view. To make changes, hover over any column header and click on the 3-bar symbol.
From the popup, click on the Grid icon.
The list of available fields will appear. Those with a blue check are currently displayed in your view. Those that are blank are hidden.
Mark changes by selecting or deselecting the fields.
Resizing and Resetting Columns
To resize column, move the cursor between to columns until the double arrow symbol appears, drag the cursor left or right to adjust the size of the column.
To Autosize column, hover over column header and click on the 3-bar symbol. Choose the Autosize option.
To Reset columns, choose the Reset Columns option. This will reset column selection, size and order to the default setting
