Frequently, Providers will receive a recall notification from both the Manufacturer and the Distributor for the same recall event. When creating a recall event or eR response in the NotiSphere platform, you can include both the Manufacturer and Distributor information.
Tip: When managing notifications from both Manufacturer and Distributor, enter the same Recall Name for each event to make sorting records simpler.
Tracking a Recall Notification from a Manufacturer for a Distributed Product
Enter the Manufacturer name in the Supplier Name field.
Include the Manufacturer recall email response address in Response Email field.
Enter the Distributor in the Distributor Name field. This field is optional.

Enter the Distributor name in the Supplier Name field.
Enter the email response address from the Distributor notice in the Response Email field.
Enter the Distributor to the Distributor Name field.
Managing Recall Views with Manufacturer and Distributor Identified
Both the Supplier Name and Distributor fields will display on the Recalls tab. This allows Recall Coordinators to view, search and sort easily on either field.
