Managing Recall Notices for Distributed Products - eR Responses

Frequently Providers will receive a recall notification from both the Manufacturer and the Distributor for the same recall event. NotiSphere enables  Responders to track this information where relevant.  When creating an eR response in the NotiSphere platform, the user may include both the Manufacturer and Distributor information.
Note - when managing/entering notifications from both Manufacturer and Distributor, enter the same Recall Name for each event to make sorting records simpler.

Tracking a Recall Notification from a Manufacturer for a Distributed Product

  • After Adding the event under the eR Responses tab
  • Enter the Manufacturer name in the Supplier Name field.
  • Include the Manufacturer recall email response address in Supplier Response Email field.
  • Enter the Distributor name into the Distributor Name field. Note that this field is optional.

Tracking a Recall Notification from a Distributor

  • Enter the Distributor name in the Supplier Name field.
  • Enter the email response address from the Distributor notice in the Response Email field.
  • Enter the Distributor to the Distributor Name field.
Note - if there are notifications from both Manufacturer and Distributor, use same Recall Name for each event to make sorting records simpler.

Managing Recall Views with Manufacturer and Distributor Identified

On the eR Responses tab, both the Supplier Name and Distributor fields will be shown. This enables users to easily view, search and sort on either field.
This approach enables users to manage and respond independently to each notification while maintaining visibility into activity for distributed products.
